Meader of the Shaker Museum, 1901-1977; brochures, clippings, and letters concerning the restoration of the Shaker village at Pleasant Hill, Ky., ca. 1962; photograph album of Shaker village at East Canterbury, N.H., 1949-1950; and typed excerpts from the diary of Rudolf Gottfried Zollinger of Zurich, Switzerland, 1886-1887, who worked for the Shakers at Pleasant Hill. Original documents include a description of attempted break-in at Canaan, N.Y., 1805, and depositions attesting to the sanity of Malcham Worley of Union Village, Ohio, 1846.
